Jacksonville University has opened the door for RNs who have already earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree to complete their BSN that much faster. The RN to BSN requirements are fairly simple:
- Students must have earned their associate’s or diploma from a regionally accredited college or university
- Students with an Associate’s of Arts (AA) degree will have up to 33 credits of general education courses waived
- Students who have earned an AS, AAS or diploma from an accredited college or university can have their transcripts evaluated, as well. The general education courses will be reviewed to see which can meet transfer credit requirements
- All applicants will receive 30 credits for their active U.S. RN license. Getting nurses that much closer to the 120 credits needed to graduate with a BSN
